I know there have been a couple threads on this issue but I would like to see if anyone thinks my case is any different. I have a 2013 LX570 with the Mark Levinson stereo. I have removed the rear entertainment system in the headrests a few years ago. Note that in 2013-2015 the LX had the rear screens in the headrests. The "fix" for the issue in the earlier models involved the single screen in the headliner. HERE is the link to that thread.
A few weeks ago I pulled my passenger seat to do some carpet cleaning and when I went to drive the truck ~5 days later, I noticed the stereo sound was not working. When cleaning it was just a simple spray cleaner in the carpet. No dumping of liquids or shampooing. I figured it was no big deal as the amp is on the driver's side. However, now after doing some research I realize there is another module that is crucial to the stereo working under the passenger seat. Go figure. For reference this is part #86104-60010 which is a multi display controller and not cheap.
Well, I thought the issue would just resolve itself since this HAS happened before (twice). After a large rain storm, the audio did not work for a few days and I think the system may have needed to dry out. To prevent this, I've cleaned the sunroof drains and even put a piece of cloth under the amp in the driver's area. However, this doesn't seem to be the issue this time since the LX hasn't seen rain and is garaged.
In reading other threads on similar topics, I noticed that you could put the vehicle in diagnostic mode, which I did. In the pictures below it looks like I'm getting a MOST error. When I click into it however, it says my 3 systems are "OK." This leads me to believe that the MOST error has something to do with the wiring? Not sure.
Overall, what I'm trying to do is narrow down the issue. I think the amp is fine, and looking at the diagnosis, I think the multimedia unit under the passenger's seat should be okay too? However, I may be interpreting these results incorrectly since I have never done this before. I have already pulled all the fuses under the passenger glove box (they looked good) as well as sprayed Deoxit into all the connectors in that area under the glove box + passenger kick panel. I didn't see any corrosion. I also pulled the connectors under the driver (amp) and passenger side (multi display controller) and sprayed with Deoxit.
Anyone have any ideas on where to go next? I'm not opposed to replacing the part(s). I just want to figure out what is wrong. Note that I do not have Techstream so I cannot pull the actual codes it's throwing it seems. I don't see any code references in the diagnosis menu my pics have.
