Picked them up today. Definitely a little larger than my near bald 315’s

Any updates on the performance / wear of these tires? I’ve only been reading good things and am gonna be picking some up sometime this summer.

Well, one of them showed up yesterday, so I guess I have a Yoko-uno :rimshot:

The rest are supposed to show up today. I measured my old BFG 235/55r16's at 30.25" on the truck. They were built in 03/09. Time for new. These G003 255/85r16's measured 32.8" unmounted. These are going on OEM 16" 70 series wheels. Great looking tire, can't wait to try them out.

These BFGs are quiet. Thats pretty much all I can say about them.

I blame @wngrog

Impressions of those who live in snow-country?

Replacing my ancient KO2's which have 70,000 miles on them. Looking for something other than BFG as the KO3's are no where to be found in the US right now for 315-75-16's and seem to have issues with chunking for some folks.

I like the siping on the G003's, making them perhaps work a bit better for the snow.

How's the road noise with these tires? They look like a great option. Looking for a 255/85r16 and glad to see this as an option.

Good to know. That seems a little short mileage wise for what I was hoping before getting noisy but I've never run MT's so I have no experience to go by. I have some Michelin LTX AT2's that I've run about 100,000 miles on and have had for about 9 years. Their tread is still holding up well but age wise am thinking of replaceing. The were pretty bad in mud and snow and off camber climbs in loose soil (wanted to crab walk sideways a lot) but otherwise they have been great. I don't get into mud or snow much here. I am not looking to have to replace a new set of tires at 25-30,000 miles if the road noise gets too bad.

Yeah it is insane to have that wear but obviously there is a compromise. I am not expecting to have that life with a MT. KO3 or KM3? I thought the K03 are AT?

My current Toyo's have probably 50K on them give or take. I don't track the miles and have a different set of winter tires so its a ballpark. But they still don't make any more noise than new. I can't say that for the General's I ran before them. The tire dealer I got my G003's from sells both and claimed less noise with the Yoko's compared to Toyo on all the oil/gas trucks he services. That was a big deciding factor in my purchase. I'm hoping they live up to expectations. Now if I could just make time to clearance for the 37's

Gusset plates welded and radius arm back in. I suck at welding when materials are vertical or worse over head.

Wheel sitting 1” forward. Passenger side tomorrow then take her for a drive.

Initial impressions after daily driving the truck today.

The Yokos are quiet. Like all terrain quiet in my opinion. I did not exceed 50MPH. No howl unless I pushed them hard into a corner. Then I got the standard MT sound I expected. I don’t feel like I lost much power coming from my 315’s. Maybe because the Toyos they replaced were so heavy. My only complaint at this point is that they hold rocks. I have a gravel driveway and 1 mile of dirt road before hitting pavement. Once there I was slinging big rocks for a few miles until they cleared.

No complaints on the axle relocation. Truck seems to handle as stock, well as stock with a 4” lift.

Little follow up after driving the truck up to Silverton today on business.

Really happy with the HWY manors of the Yokohama’s. Very quiet for what they are. No wondering. Corner fine again for a MT. Return trip was in the rain. No surprises there.

Still need to go wheeling. I’m sure they will perform fine in that department.
