I was packed and ready to roll Thursday night but ended up getting the flu on Friday. It was miserable. Glad you guys had fun.
We were wondering what happened. Todd didn't make it for the same reason and I am fighting it off now.

Anyone get any pics of the trucks going through Waterworld?
Under the weather put it mildly. I was in the bed all day friday and saturday.
Sad part is that there are so many awesome trails out there, but they are gated. There is a great way to the eternal flame back up the mountain. Its a really good trail, but its gated down below and the turn off of the upper trail is very hard to find.

Got knocked down with some bug and have not been able to get to pictures.
Not in any random order, but this one has to represent the vastness of the area and is one of the best of the bunch.
Stuck day two, could go no farther unless we broke out shovels, so we backtracked

The area is just cris-crossed with trails...
We pushed as far as we could go, must have been around 530pm. All agreed that we needed to make camp immediately (2 areas separated by a huge mud hole in the trail), and we raced to clear the flat area that we are parked in below. This flat area was the only one we saw over the 2-3 hr slog on the water trail.
Turned out just about perfect, on a bluff, with a bit extra work, we could make it really nice next time.

I finally washed the 40lbs of mud off mine today.
its on my to do list this week. Even with all the rain we had saturday, its still baked on....
I'm not sure why something silly like the flu stopped you from riding. I had pneumonia and still lead the ride.the bronchitis did slow me down at the end, but it was worth it!
But still have not unloaded it from the trailer!
That's just being prepared for the next ride. If it ain't broke don't monkey with it.
