All it really does is cut.

Plasma cutting

I love mine and I don't nearly use it as often as you will. Of all the points that Bob laid out I can personally attest that you will catch more things on fire than you at first thought, that little flame with the air and wow things several feet away ignite with comical (so far)results. So do be carefull! Doc
