Amen to that, brother ! :grinpimp:

Thanks Eric, appreciate that.

I've been hard at work on the stereo waiting for parts to arrive. 4x4labs bumper and rear axles arrive next week. Not that it matters, because I just dropped it off at the tuner... He's getting started tomorrow and the eta is 2 weeks...

Forgot to take pictures of the ECU, wastegate, intercooler, screamer pipe, and other various bits and pieces.. Was told that the kit I'm using is capable of 700-800 hp, no problem.

I'm very excited... It's like Christmas.. but Santa is a dirty guy and I have to pay for my own presents.... So... exactly like Christmas I suppose. :)

Which kit are you using?

Piggyback ECU or a full replacement?

That header is sexy.

He's using greddy's e-manage ultimate. And I believe his plan is to piggyback.

I'm not doing the install. It's at a shop in high point. I'd love to think it'll be done by this weekend but they said 2 weeks till its tuned and ready to go.

But when it is, don't worry I'll be showing up to wheeling events!

I can't believe this is actually happening!!

Are they going to dyno the truck?

I'm pretty excited to see what it's capable of - but no plans to put it on a real dyno. Especially before I install the upgraded axles/birfs. If there's a 4wd dyno that we can all go to and make a day of it, I'm down...

Trying to help him find a good way to mount the gauges... Shocker: there aren't a whole lot of gauge mounting solutions for these things...:)

If you gut the stock gauge housing you can fit 2-3 1/8 and 5- 2 1/8 gauges

Or big money will get you one of these

Yeah - so cutting the dash isn't in the cards - the dash is in really nice shape. I'm actually trying to keep it looking stock - using OEM foglight switches for my silly lightbar and War of the Worlds red eye lights....

I'm more thinking along the lines of a gauge pod on the a pillar...

its been done...... I think home for a gmt400 will work and look good with matching paint/dye

cant remember if it was the gmt400 or a later year though. They are fairly cheap though and should be returnable

Hmmmm ..... I have a vague memory of @jfz80 mentioning some model car whose aftermarket pillar gauge fit an 80. That right, Jason, or was I too deep into the beer that day?

4x4 concepts in oz makes them for LHD 80s now
