New tires on stock LC200: 275/70-18

I just ordered these wheels in photo below that have a 20mm offset and a set of 275/70/18 BFG KO2 for my Dark Gray OME lifted 200. Currently I have spacers from Slee on my rig. The tire guy said I would no longer need them. He also mentioned I could order the 305/65/18 to see if they would fit. Any thoughts? My biggest concern with the 305/65 are clearance of course and the 275/70 is looking narrow.

There is a member here running the 305s with fuel wheels and no rubbing. Search 305 65 and his build comes up. Just a thought

Correction. He is running method wheels.

Thanks. It looks killer with the 305. I guess my biggest concern would be the tires hitting the fender in full flex when out on the trail. I'm going to have Slee install the front strut spacers but. It sure if it would be enough.

Also, I wonder how much of a negative a 305/65 vs 275/70 would be in the snow, both being a KO2

No idea about snow??? But someone who has seen snow will chime in:hillbilly:

Terra Grappler G2 does make a 295/70/18. Has anyone tried this size?

I had 305 KOs on my 100 and they were fantastic in snow at 16 below zero trudging through a literal blizzard in Wyoming.

KO2s are also excellent.

Great pic! I'll have the tire guy bring in 305/65-18 to see if they'll fit

I ran those for a while, and while they looked great and were great off road, they were really heavy and loud. Rubbing was minimal with spacers, but I just couldn't get over the crappy ride. The KO2's are worlds different from the Nittos.

Thanks for the info! I just called my tire guy and he has a set of KO2 275/70-18 set aside for me and is ordering in a KO2 305/65/18 to see if they'll fit with my new 20mm offset wheels.

Disappointed to hear these don't offer the best ride. They do look good.

I'd love to see how the 305's look. I seriously considered going with that size, but just couldn't pull the trigger.

Would you mind calling me about this post at 601-937-9383? Thank you

Would the LT305 /65 R18's fit on a stock 2008 LC wheel without spacers? Don't want any rubbing on or off road and would be willing to remove mud flaps...
