Right now I'm tryin' to stay focused on gettin' Phase 1 done and paid for and at the same time I'm also makin' travel arrangements to go get Phase 2 bought and under construction in a coupla weeks. Details of the Phase 2 build have taken most of my spare time.

As previously stated, Phase 3 won't be until at least next spring. :meh:

With that said ... the new XP1000 RZR looks nice but have to see what kind of problems are reported with 'em 'tween now and next spring.

:flamingo:

The only problem I see with them is the $19k price tag. Other than that they are bad ass!

Yep, I'll stand by post 155.

Of course, posts 82, 144, 145, and 151 are still my favorites.
Carry on!
Nick

Phase 2 has to have power.........& there aint no KOA's off in the mountains, my guess is that phase 3 is a generator. Honda EU3000 can't hear it run & don't burn much gas:beer:

LMAO!

Good to see your priorities are straight.
Ol' Army fight!

Happy Trails! N

Dual Sport bike & single seat super light weight buggy!!!????

So...is it going to be ready for the SCC? Cause I'm going, and I've heard stories for years now about this Kowboy...but have never met him. Hell, it could be Nick's alter ego for all I know. :D

LOL, not an alter ego.... more like from a parallel universe.

Definitely considered this option for a while but decided against it. Current plan is a UTV due to size and weight for trailerin'. Might all change by springtime though. :D

Doubtful unless DynaTrac s***s out my axles sooner rather than later. :meh:

Truck'll be worth seein'.

Me ... not so much.

Vince done posted up some more pics I can share.:clap:

Looks like he got my massive Cat fuel filter/water separator unit remounted and it just clears the Atlas.

Nice close up of the Atlas ... for some reason.

And an ugly lookin' driveshaft. :hhmm:

I'm thinkin' the Boys are tryin' to get the thang back movin' under her own power so they can get the paint and body work outta the way???

Maybe one of 'em will chime in and clarify. :meh:

Isn't IGE in Denver?

So I suppose this phase 2 is some sort of an RV/ luxurius tent/cocoon type of thing?

Remembering your written account of your motorcycle mishap, and having followed your project threads since pre-WTEC, I think an on-line Autobiography (if not one in paperback) would be well-received and much-read.

While Sea Knight's tale in the 40 Series Seciton ( https://forum.ih8mud.com/40-55-series-tech/548650-saving-old-rustbucket-my-1982-fj40-tale.html ) has tapered off, I believe your story would be every bit as readable.

Probably don't have the time at present, but maybe down the trail...

Thank you sir ... and already plannin' on it

In addition to travelin' the backroads of America and playin' with the toys I collect in Phase 3, tellin' my tales will be one of my activities. :grinpimp:

So when I hit the road upon total completion of this project, keep your eye on this here forum for a thread that'll be titled "Livin' the Dream ... The Diaries of a Madman.":steer::clap:

I have to support Garth's thoughts...

...Besides he dont have much to do after work other than scratching & grabin' and play with his Rubber doll:hillbilly:

Saludos Vaquero!
