Thank you sir ... and already plannin' on it
In addition to travelin' the backroads of America and playin' with the toys I collect in Phase 3, tellin' my tales will be one of my activities. :grinpimp:
So when I hit the road upon total completion of this project, keep your eye on this here forum for a thread that'll be titled "Livin' the Dream ... The Diaries of a Madman.":steer::clap:
:flamingo:

One of the many challenges of my alcohol-induced visions I have for projects is to see if my wallet can keep up. :grinpimp:

As previously stated:

... you can sorta tell all the pinstripin', stickers, emblems, and moldin' have been removed ...

Ain't sure why the fac'try puts all that s*** on there. When the truck's done, she'll have two colors and two colors only ... black and maroon.

This truck has had a pampered life with it's previous owner. She never saw winter and was always stored inside or covered the rest of the year. So even tho we're dealin' with 11 year old paint here, the pinstripes and stickers came off without leavin' any ghost images. This includes the silly lil' powerstroke emblems which were stick-ons as well.

However, it was also noted that ...

You can see where the "F-250" emblems on the fender have friggin' holes ...

Now a man with even reasonable intelligence would have simply put the "F-250" emblems right back on and been satisfied with all the rest of the s*** bein' gone.

I ain't never been accused of bein' in that category. :grinpimp:

And the pros at IPOR also do paint and bodywork ... so here we go ...:lol:

Then a series of pics showin' his creation under the hood to house the fuses, relays, matter/anti-matter chamber, and other really technical kinda stuff. :grinpimp:

13 pics for Friday the 13th.

Damn my luck to get here right after the biblical floodin' 'round these parts.

Took Hallmark owner Bill Ward 2 1/2 hours to go 'round all the closed roads to meet me. Sure glad he made the effort tho.

Man knows his s***. Been doin' it since 1958 so reckon he should. Spent 6 hours touring the fac'try and discussin' my goals for the camper and all the dif'rent options. 'Tween my ideas and his, we came up with an excellent design for the 'Milner' model shown above that we're both happy with. I gotta say that the shop and employees are VERY impressive and I'm super excited 'bout the camper. Wrote the man outta check and agreed on a deliv'ry date of 10 December.

Phase 2 has begun. Actual build will begin late October/early November and I hope to get progress pics along the way.

so inquiring minds want to know!!!!

what kind of set up will be this?

Is this for a slide in camper on the bed of the Stupid Duty?

or

goose neck trailer as you had before but at a smaller scale?

as usual this is an interesting project.
