How about some shots of the bumper not the box.

More pics of the ass and panties please!

One last comment 'bout the bumpers ...

even though they come from dif'rent manufacturers and are even made of dif'rent materials, I think it's cool how they look like a matched set.

Here's the proof: :grinpimp:

Love me some Lady Sonja!

Tryin' to ramp up the schedule of this project folks ... but still remain strictly cash on the barrelhead as I go. Therefore, in order to proceed with Phase 2 in a timely manner I needed to get some cash. :meh:

So yesterday I bid a fond farewell to my Harley and trailer in a package deal that padded my bank account right nice.

Ended up with 25k miles on the bike in the three years I owned 'er.

Workin' closely with Lance at IPOR, we've now gotta pretty good handle on the scope of work and the budget for Phase 1. Completion date is still pending parts delivery from a vendor but is anticipated to be a late September/October sorta deal. Got the majority of the cost of the project already in his hands ... and the remaining portion in my bank standing by.

So with Phase 1 covered financially, the situation is shaping up quite nicely to initiate Phase 2 of the project mid-September. Will clarify the details upon purchase next month, but anticipate a 4 to 6 month delivery time for Phase 2.

Although technic'ly Phase 3 has already begun with the purchase of my mountain bike, my current schedule has me gettin' real serious with Phase 3 next Spring with a 2 to 3 month completion schedule.

So lookin' like overall completion of the project will be next summer if all goes well. We'll see. :meh:

...drama.
(sigh)

Happy Trails! N

Didn't see the bike sale coming. Done with scooters or just taking a break for a while? I'm seriously thinking about selling my BMW dual sport and moving up to a proper highway cruiser...

so we will see you everynow and than in the usual places....:hhmm:

I don't mean the porn sites that you normally visit:hillbilly:

That is correct my lil' beaner buddy.

And yesterday I was seen at Iron Pig Off Road.

Here's a coupla sorry-ass pics Lance took with his phone of the new rock slider. I'm likin' the design and fit alot.

The real treat though was to see Vince's shifters in person. No way the pictures do 'em justice.

We went through the scope of work again and Lance and Vince were feverishly takin' notes. I'm figurin' each one of them notes is sev'ral hun'erd bucks. :grinpimp:

Lance's pics suck but you can sorta tell all the pinstripin', stickers, emblems, and moldin' have been removed ... includin' the chrome wheel trim thangs.

Ain't sure why the fac'try puts all that s*** on there. When the truck's done, she'll have two colors and two colors only ... black and maroon.

Thankfully, Vince took over the picture takin' ... :grinpimp:

You can see where the "F-250" emblems on the fender have friggin' holes that'll have to be smoothed over.

And here's the Aluminess rear bumper. :bounce2::cheers::bounce2:

Guards on the ends protect the fac'try taillights

Right-hand swing arm Box holds 3 fuel cans and locks them in ... 2 for gas and 1 for diesel. Rack on top of the box holds (2) 5-gallon jugs of water.

Left-hand swing arm has been beefed up to hold the 37" spare.

Both swing arms lock in the open, 90-degree position.

Also a lockin' storage box built into the bumper itself to hold recovery gear.

5" rectangular cut-outs for 2 sets of lights ... 1 set of white LED's that Vince is gonna put on a 3-way switch (Off, on, and on with reverse lights) and 1 set of red LED brake/turn/tail lights wired directly into the fac'try units.

Entire assembly is powder-coated aluminum and amazingly lightweight ... and major, major FAWKIN' BADASS!:clap:

Looking good! I dig the sliders! Hate to see the bike go though.
