New Seats For DD

Hey Guys-

My wife's b'day is coming up soon and I want to get her some new aftermarket seats for her DD 1994 Toy Pickup.

Anyone got recomendations on some fairly affordable, comfortable, good looking seats.

I want to buy new seats, not throw some junkyard seats in, I just dont think she would understand.

Anyway Pics and links are appreciated.

Well corrado makes a nice seat, but they are mucho expensive. If it were my rig, I would want two driver side sr5 seats out of a second gen truck or first gen 4runner in good condition. Those things are awesome.

They came in a few color styles. My favorite Ive only seen in KLF's rig maybe if he's got a couple photos he can post em up.

Try checking out ebay. Search for bucket seats and racing seats..theres a ton of sets for less that $300.. Ive even seen some used toyota 4runner,pickup and tacoma seats on there. Im in the market for a new front set myself..props to your wifey for DD a Yoter..

Seriously, find 4-runner buckets (the swanky leather ones if possible). Recover them if necessary. There is no more comfortable seat than these. I have the SR5 buckets in mine, my sister got the real fancy 4-runner buckets in hers. I'm jealous of how comfy hers are (and mine are awesome). Recovering with new fabric wasn't hard at all.

You might even be able to buy new fabric from Toyota.

Thanks for the help guys, I am now searching the local pick and pulls for 4runner or pickup leather seats.

Unfortunatley her truck has blue interior and I'm having a hard time finding something that wont look terrible, I would prefer not to get them recovered unless I really have to.

My favorite Ive only seen in KLF's rig maybe if he's got a couple photos he can post em up.

I don't think I have any pics handy, but of all the vehicles I've ever owned, the most comfy seats I've ever had are the 25-year-old SR5 seats I have in my pickup now. That includes the leather seats I had in my '92 4Runner, and even the fancy heated power seats I have in my Lexus now. They came out of my ol' '84 truck, and although the velour bolsters are getting rubbed smooth they are still very comfy. I'm a small guy (thin frame, 5'-7" tall), so that really helps. Bigger/taller/fatter people probably won't like them as much.

There's a guy on eBay that goes by "partmaster" that sells a lot of Toyota mini-truck stuff from this era, I've seen him list these seats occasionally for sometimes up to $350/pair depending on condition.
