Hey, So I've been looking for a FJ60 for awhile, just bought one last month, been browsing the forums for about a year just have never had a reason to make an account (thank you search bar) Anyways last week my radiator started leaking from the top seam really badly, babied it home, stopping refilling coolant letting it sit ect. So I took out the radiator today, got the replacement today from Rock Auto, its's a spectra, not to impressed by it, Now my questions are should I just take this old OEM radiator and JB weld the seam or get an aluminum one off of Ebay? Can't really afford an OEM one. My other question is there seems to be what I think is a vacuum line leading to my thermostat that is broken off at the nipple, what are these hoses for? I don't believe its to important because Its been running fine with it broken, thanks

Hey, I'm back, I'm changing out the thermostat and replacing BVSV, and I snapped two of the bolts in top thermostat housing, I can't seem to find these bolts anywhere or the part number, anyone have a link?

Welcome to the madness! Use neverseize on the replacements, and be careful with extracting the busted bolts, could lead to a drop down a rabbit hole...

Thanks! I will for sure be using neverseize, I just read an old thread, I think I should be able to lift the top housing off, since the top is not threaded.

Sorry to bring back this thread, but my CSF Radiator came in the mail today, what Radiator cap do I get for this thing because my OEM Radiator cap doesnt seem to fit
