Hey there guys (and gals, if any are on here) I have a pretty unique and rare opportunity. I am thinking of selling a 1998 BU212 ToyoAce camper I bought that got damaged in shipping for the engine and transmission. It is unique because it is one of those rare ToyoAce/Dyna 2.5 ton rigs that has the 15BFT mechanically injected 4.1 liter 16 valve turbodiesel engines in it. It also has the H260 6 speed manual transmission behind it. I will check the build plate on the ToyoAce when i have the opportunity. So if you are looking to do a 15BFT swap this rig has just about everything you need-starter, flywheel, clutch, bell housing, radiator, intercooler and hoses, wiring harness, etc, which would be difficult and time consuming to source if you just bought an engine. The ToyoAce has 134,000 miles on it and the engine runs great and pulls like a freight train. Im asking $14,000 for the entire rig. It took on damage on the roof which destroyed the AC unit, fans, ladder, etc, when the boneheads at the port unloaded it from the ship. If you have any questions or want additional photos or videos, get in touch. It does run and drive. I drove it from LA where it shipped from Japan, to New Mexico and it ran like a top. Frame number is BU212-0108779

Bump - got to check this beast out today and its killer. Might be heading to CO if I can find the space. Either way, I hope it stays a camper. She pulls hard with that FT and 6speed

And because we all want a peak under that skirt...

I wish I had the parking space. With 4 cruisers and real estate prices in Palo Alto I’m at my limits. I would have made this thing pristine.

It’s funny that the AC compressor is mounted above the injector pump. On the 15BFT I got from the coaster bus it was mounted below the alternator opposite side.

I literally came here to remark on the A/C compressor situation but Ofer beat me to it. Don't sell this.

As someone who never seems to like any of the rhd versions I have to say this thing is pretty rad and deserves to be fixed and enjoyed as a camper .

If this is around when I sell my travel trailer, I would buy it. I have a dometic AC and 2 fantastic fans sitting in my shed. One more event I need the trailer for, it will be for sale by the end of the month.
