Open to any and all options -- I like the swb the best. No rust buckets please. Budget is a loose term if the right truck pops up. I'm in Colorado. Local is best, but I'll drive pretty far if need be. Please let me know what you've got and what you want for it. Anyone has any good leads on where to find one, i'm all ears. Ebay seems like a waste....?

Anyway, Thanks for the help. :)

thanks for the help. something seems fishy about the ebay one -- all sorts of hinges and latches and mirrors were painted to match the body color...and the undercarriage has been hit with some rubberized spray it looks like, but missed in a lot of spots. The Cruizers one is a gem though!!

I appreciate it.

Site Info

You asked about Vintage Offroad, I mentioned he's great at marketing Cruizers is a site they run and sell ad space. Just thought you might find that interesting. Good luck in your search!

you bought your 55 from VOR huh? And you feel as though you dodged the bullet that hit just about everyone else right? Man, this hobby is tougher than I thought. I had a 74 fj40 for 5 years, and the thing practically drove itself into my garage -- now I can't find a decent 45 pickup to save my life -- oh there are some -- 52k, 30k but last time I checked I wasn't that desperate. Looking for something a little more realistic. So, VOR is Cruizers -- is that what you're saying?

Yeah check out the bottom of the home page and you'll see the Cap 1 finance add and if you click around it will lead you right to there site. But the ad's on this site, sellers pay a small fee to advertise thier rigs. VOR only collect the ad fee... If he has a truck you really want fly to Flagstaff and check it out. I believe those who had a bad experience never touch it until it show up in thier driveway. Check out my 55 , I don't know how to attach my thread but it's on page two in the 55 section under Rookie Intro of my new Pig Luke111. Your either going to spend a lot upfront and buy a finish truck or you'll spend it later to resto one. Did you call bz45guy the one that wanted $9000 but advertise it in his local paper for $7500.

I'm not tooting his horn, cus he advertise my truck as rustfree!! I talk to Lance at Ironpig Offroad before I purchased it and he said that statement was not true...and he was right. He had to cut out my right front floor support and refab it. But he also said it was the cleanest Pig he had seen in a long time, East Coast. I don't believe Mushro made up all those testimonials and I did not fly out to see it. I plan on buying a 45 swb or lwb in a year and will only purchase it if I can touch it. I think you get my point. All the best in your quest! you'll find the right truck!

Hey, PM WDUKES he had a 45 for sale here which I believe he sold, but when I was looking for a 55 I tried to by a 55 that he had restored, the guy who bought it and was now selling it gave me his number, realtor in Jackson Hole and had a few 45's . Give him a PM he just might have one he'll sell you

Lou

Really it depends on the truck -- i'm not in the market for a full resto show truck, but I also don't want a rusted out heap.I'm paying fair market value for whatever truck comes my way. LWB is prefered actually.

Thanks

45swb

The 45swb you directed to was for sale by Dan Barret. I just happened to run into him in St. George as he was delivering it to the new owner. Unless that didn't happen, I am pretty sure that one is sold. It did look very good up close...lots of bells and whistles.

Hey I got what you are looking for. Can't break into the classified yet as too new I reckon but you can email for pics and infor at dkbell266@yahoo.com. I have the only 1973 in the US they tell me and I have to sell it as I'm too old (arthur) to clutch it in the winter these days.
