Honestly, I had never heard of Tough Dog until @reevesci told me he was going to be the distributor for them. Then I researched them and saw they got very good reviews in Australia. They are made in Australia (not China like a lot of the others) and are beefy!

I'm impressed. And the cost is good too!

I don't know anything about the adjustable shocks. I have the 41mm foam cells which have been great for me and get excellent reviews.

I have several sets of regular and 45mm adjustables out now. Ranging from 500 to 25000 miles with no reported issues. I have adjustables on my 100 and they work great for my rig uses, currently at 6500 miles.

From the owner of Tough Dog "Shock and shock parts are mostly made in the US and Mexico by a US company. Adjustable shocks and parts come out of Taiwan, Leaf springs come out of Thailand, Coil springs are made in Australia. The final quality control, assembly and checks are done in our factory in Australia."

Made some progress. Did all the PM stuff, changed all fluids(except trans, found a recent receipt with a flush and filter change), replaced the PHH, upper/lower radiator hoses and a few vacuum/coolant hoses that were a bit worse for wear. Fixed a intermittent ABS light with a new(used) ABS main relay and color sanded/buffed the paint.

After installing a set of 285/75-16 BFG KO2s is decided I wanted a lift so installed a set of OME 850 and 860 springs, a OME steering dampner and a set of Bilstien off road shocks. Came out better than expected, sits nice and level and raised all 4 corners almost exactly 3 inches.

In between the weekends working on it I've had a couple of chances to take it out on some trails in the area. First time was on street tires so didn't go anywhere fun but after the tires, took it on a low/mid difficutly trail and was quite impressed. Sure its big, but super stable and solid as a rock. Really impressed with how quiet it is off road, you can take fairly rough fire roads at pretty decent speeds with damn near no squeaks and rattles.

Added 1" spacers & 37's after that trip
