Anyone know the approximate weight of the Hanna rear bumper with tire carrier and 3 can carrier?

Kirstie Allie before Jenny Craig. It's a good match w/ OME heavies.

Might be smart to pre-order the bumper, I hear the line is forming at the rear...

I'm at the "Pre" Pre-order stage. Gonna switch out to OME863"s.

How much did Kirstie Allie weigh before Jenny Craig? I'm thinking close to 300lbs.
Man, thats a heavy bumper!

and an intern on every trip :flipoff2:

that wasn't even the joke that you quoted!:grinpimp:

Intern no more - that was last year! :flipoff2:

I know......you thought the fat joke was better. Don't you live fairly close to North Hollywood? I wouldn't be to forthcoming about forming a line in the rear. hehehe:D ;)

Back to the serious stuff. Ken makes one great rear bumper!

On Post 28 - The LCs have rear spoilers. Are those OEM? Is there a version with a 3rd brake light installed?
If yes, can you provide the Part Numbers? (calling Dan....)
Would that spoiler fit a JDM 1990? How are those mounted: bolted-on or taped? I don't see any mounting points on my LC for that spoiler - so I take that I have to drill to mount the spoiler. Any other mounting ideas?

If not OEM, please advise source of the spoilers?

roncruiser,
Ken mentioned it awhile ago but I forgot the weight. sorry

spoiler is stock. alot of usa 80's have them. I wish I didn't! it's screwed into the hatch.

...

isn't the rule that the intern continues to be the intern until a new intern is acquired?

:D :flipoff2: :D

:D :flipoff2: :D

Not when the trip is being limited to the number of trucks going (and rightfully so). hehehe
:D

Got the call from Ken this morning. Very nice talking to him. The bumper should be here around March!

hey Roncruiser,
thats great you ordered your bumper,so you have to wait till march?
did you order the dual swing outs?
I was leaning towards the single to save some bucks& still get a kick ass bumper.
Still looking &trying to save up some$$$$
You getting the bumper shipped or pick up?
SLO is only 2 1/2 hrs. for me,but if I take the 80,I might not save too much the way it sucks down the gas!

jsuthey
you can always get a single swingout but ask Ken to add both piviot mounting posts. This way, you can add the 2nd swingout later. He has a cap to cover the pin.

Ken mentioned the bumper should be done around March. I ordered the dual swingouts with both tire carrier and can holder. I basically went for it. I saved a lot of pennies (look at the 2nd post of this thread). Since I live in San Diego, its more economical to have it shipped. I'm stoked!

Thanks firstoy, thats a super good call on the mounting posts.
Thanks for the reply also roncruiser, did you put down a depost to order your bumper or just charge it ?

Oh man! I can't wait. :D

Did you have it delivered to home or a business? What was your install time from?

I had it delivered to a fellow Cruiser members' business....install tme was around 3hrs maybe....my rear crossmember was somewhat outta line from a hit by a Nissan Titan last year:doh:. Nonetheless, it all turned out great......can't same the same for the Titan, what a what a cheap front end they have !
