Just stumbled across this thread -- for anybody curious, I've also been rocking these cup holders for the past couple of years. They're so much better than the factory ones, even though I don't often carry big, wide bottles. I do frequently carry tall metal insulated bottles that fell out of the stock cupholders all the time. I sanded mine after printing, which I regret some since I used a 3mm filament on a printer at my old job. I didn't have enough layers on top to have it sand nicely, and I've learned a lot more about printing since!

However, I did find a nearly-matching interior trim paint that's really close to my '04 Cruiser's gray interior.

I still frequently think about wanting to add some rubber or foam to these since the holders are huge and my bottles rattle, but I haven't done it yet.

Because of my stereo system, everything in my 2001 LX can rattle. So I used felt pads like you would place under furniture.

I just uploaded a remix of mistered123 original design to Thingiverse. The remix allows the part to be printed in 4 main pieces and 2 smalls pegs. This breaks the long job up into much smaller time increments, as well as allowing it to be printed on smaller printers, like mine.

If anyone wants this .stl model (edit: check further on this thread for thingiverse link). It’s a two piece SLS print that I glued together with JB-Weld plastic bonder.

Thanks! I might try a new version for mine with your split model.

After completing the install, I wish I had used beige (never said this about anything before). I may still reprint the top parts in beige, tan, or chocolate brown. The assembly is modular and doesn't require require glue.

I ordered a Panavise AMPS mount for my dash; however it did not arrive in time for my trip. I created a removable mount that fits the OP's cupholder as well as my remix.

I've uploaded my remix of MechE30's part to thingiverse. Thank you for uploading the design! The print in the pictures is not a print of my final revision, which fits more flush with the selector trim panel. I plan to print the final when new filament arrives. FYI, the cupholder assembly is asymmetric from left to right. The top parts can be mirrored to work in a RHD vehicle.

Minor tweaks. Printed in chocolate brown, darker than the brown elements in the interior. I'm really happy with the design. Also, the cups are separate friction-fit parts, allowing for changes without reprinting the whole assembly.

Printed for a guy at work. Required about $10 in materials and around 28 hours to print, broken into 4 large sections. An advantage of living in a 24-hour household, I don't have any concerns about printing while sleeping.
