ok. I'm fairly sure my booster has had it (it sighs when pressed...and has done for a while) - the car stops, but not as promptly as i'd like. New master cylinder a couple of years ago and calipers.

Now Mr T won't sell you one and Terrain Tamer say they don't have a model that supports ABS. Which brings us to Pedders.

Pedders themselves say they have no model for ABS, but a dealer / retailer says it's irrelevant and the PD04 is the right one.

So question: Who has fitted a new brake booster to a 1995 4.2 24v diesel with ABS? If so which bloody one did you use!!?

Having zero experience with diesel powered Land Cruisers but 4 decades of wrecking and fixing cars, I’d say buy what you can get and try it out. I think it will work out.

Have you considered swapping to a Bosch Ibooster?

Seems electric booster and diesel would go together well.

@Ratten : Which model (diesel) 80R-XXXXX are you working on and what was the date of manufacture (check the VIN plate)?

Two stud or four stud booster? (got a photo you can post up)

Looks like it may be 44610-60801 or -60802 or -60803
Also, try checking some Australian websites. IIRC someone sells an aftermarket booster for RHD diesels down under.

One source that lists an AISIN/ADVICS booster that may fit (Indonesia):
