Well... I'm sold out of all 3 designs. Sorry for those of you who weren't able to get one. I will be prepping for my camping trip for the next two days. All 6 packages are now labeled and boxed up and ready to go. I will drop them at the post office first thing in the morning. When I return I will get another batch going and will get a more official for sale thread in the correct forum. I will post a link to that once I have the next batch. Since I will be gone for over a week and it takes me a full week to make a batch; we are looking at 2 weeks before these we be up for sell again. Just be patient and thanks for the support.

Are you able to move the front passenger seat all the way forward with this cup holder installed?

Yep. That was one of my big motivators. I had the "disco" cupholder and I couldn't stand that the seat would hit. If I pushed the disco forward enough that the seat didn't hit then a cup would hit the dash. When camping I couldn't move the seat all the way forward to lay my 6'1" frame in the back. I made sure even the double cup holder cleared. The LX seems to have a slightly wider seat so I made sure it clears the LX with about 1/16" gap. It's not much but you don't need anymore. The yota 80 I test fit gave me about 1/4" gap with the seat all the way forward. Not really sure why the LX has bigger seats or if the YOTA's were just more worn and the cushions were a little smashed down. I'm sure Beno or Dan know if there is actually a difference.

Just an observation/general question...

Could the insert for the double be made by taking the 3-D file for the two cup model with the tablet slot, and just splitting it in half (at the red line in your photo)? Is there a structural need/reason to keep the double insert halves "together" versus having two halves that could both be in and still have the slot, or one half be removed like you show with the two fully enclosed round inserts?

Like you need another project....

Sounds like you need a band saw!

I have one, and if I ordered the double I would cut the insert in half ;)...but I got a cell phone model so I don't really care, just a general observation that might help with prints since the piece would be half the size now.

I could have just cut the original design in 1/2 in CAD but when I did that in reality to the actual piece I was getting a rattle from the two 1/2's bumping into eachother. Instead of doing a redesign I realized that 2 single inserts already fit perfect with no rattle so I went that route. What I have is the double in my LX and I have the original solid double insert cut in 1/2. I just sanded down the edges of the cut to make sure the two 1/2's didnt' touch. If that's what people want then they can do that themselves. It would take me hours to refit, redimension, and reset up a new print to have the single piece be two pieces OR the buyer can spend 30 seconds with a fine tooth saw and cut it in 1/2. I went that option. I have too many other projects going to keep making changes to this project. I covered every request as best as I could within an appropriate amount of time. I think I have enough options within my 3 designs to keep 90% of everyone happy. Here's the pics of the two options for follks who didn't see it before.

I just got mine .. I love it Brad , great product and as soon I get out of work im installing it , thanks again man .\../

Got the single I ordered for my dad for Father's Day. He has a Sirius XM receiver so we couldn't mount it in the designated spot but it fits perfectly on the console and he loves it there. Will be picking one up for myself on the next batch

Installed mine. Only thing I noticed so far was the hole in the bottom for the USB connector had to be opened up a little bit so that an aftermarket USB plug could get through. Other than that...LOVE IT!! Love my TEQ badge on my 40 as well ;-)

I just got back from my camping trip in the Sierras. I'm glad all the orders got out to everyone. I already started up the printer and am working on the next batch of cupholders now. For those of you that are seeing the pics posted of purchased cupholders please understand that most of those pics are of prototypes and some have a rougher finish or weird little issues that my final designs do not have. I'm glad folks are happy with the prototypes because the final designs are even better. It should take me about a week to get another good sized batch. As soon as it's ready I will have it on ETSY and will update that here.

Welcome back, hope you enjoyed your trip.
