I'm surprised it worked in a T100. I would definitely need to make some serious design changes to make that more functional for your truck. It looks too tucked up underneath the dash to hold a full size 44ounce cup. I pushed the cupholder in over the center console and away from the driver seat when compared to the "disco" cupholder which hits the seat. It looks like you have a lot more room there and I would have needed to go out TOWARDS the passenger seat which would move it away from the shifters and allow you to slide it further back and away from the dash overhang. The problem with making a cupholder for the T100 isn't that I couldn't make one, but I don't think there is any demand for it. From the pics you emailed me it looks like it already has two cup holders on the upper armrest/console. I doubt there would be any interest in a 3rd cupholder. Maybe I'm wrong. At least you have another compartment to carry stuff and that is never a bad thing.

Damn, you know whats a bummer for me? This:

So nice looking and in my colors. I redid my interior to black and tan from brown, tan and black. These cup holders will be perfect.

It has been a real challenge trying to figure out pricing . The double cupholder has been a HUGE pita with MANY failed prints which is a LOT of wasted material. Here's the things I am dealing with when coming up with a cost. I have shipping $6-12, packaging $1-2, ABS plastic $20-30, acetone $.50, sanding pads $.50, 3m adhesive $1-2, spray paint $1-2, ETSY fees $2-3, paypal fees $1-2, upgrades to my machine $5-10, the wear and tear on my machine $3-4, and the 15% failed print ratio (wasted material) $1-2. None of that covers my time/labor or the purchase cost of my machine. That is where the profit would be and I'm not including that. When you add up those costs it puts me in the range of roughly $45-70. That is what the cupholders are costing me to make right now. As the cost of filament goes down and I can also afford to buy items in much larger bulk deals then I may be able to lower those prices a tad, but I can't right now. So the single cupholder will be $45. The cupholder with cell tray will be $60, and the double cupholder will be $70.

Received my proto from Brad. Its awesome. So well-built and a great product. Its currently mounted alongside a ram mount. As soon as Brad has the doubles for sale, I'm definitely buying one and just doing a double. Holding out screwing it in until I figure out what I'm doing.

@bhicks if you have any doubles that arent perfect and want to sell them to recoup some costs, PM me--I'll buy it off you. I actually prefer imperfections--I call it character.

Very cool product. When will we be able to order the final version, and how do we order it? I'll probably go for a double in tan.

I just added a center arm rest with dual cup holders. Now I need to decide if I want the 4-cup capacity. Hmmm...

In any case, I love the double cup holder.

The first batch will go on ETSY tomorrow. I had hoped to have a large batch, but after my printing platform shattered that reality isn't going to happen. I will have two doubles, two cupholders with cell tray, and two single cupholders; with one in each color. On Tuesday I will be heading to the Sierras for 8 days of camping and backpacking. When I return the replacement platform and heater should be here ready to install. I will immediately start my second batch and continue to make batches until the orders slow down. At that point I will print orders as they come in. I will post on here tomorow when they are on ETSY. I have family coming up all day for Father's day so it wont be until tomorrow evening. I'm guessing these will go quick. I plan to get them in the mail before I leave for my trip.

sweet ill have to try and order a double quick. If I get a double, i'll be happy to sell the prototype you sent me to someone else on the forum who wants one.

I'll be at etsy all day waiting XD

Eagerly awaiting to beat out the rest of you vultures with an order ;)

Just an observation/general question...

Could the insert for the double be made by taking the 3-D file for the two cup model with the tablet slot, and just splitting it in half (at the red line in your photo)? Is there a structural need/reason to keep the double insert halves "together" versus having two halves that could both be in and still have the slot, or one half be removed like you show with the two fully enclosed round inserts?

Like you need another project....

You need to go back and look at the pics closer. I am offering a single insert that has the gap down the middle and also two separate inserts. The reason I am offering in both options is that with the gap down the middle you can use the double cup holder as a tray for a tablet or any large item that wouldn't fit in the cupholder with cell tray. If you don't have a large item that you want to span all the way across the double cupholder then you would want the separate cupholder inserts so you can have a Nalgene bottle in one holder (insert removed) and a 32oucne cup or standard watterbottle in the other (insert installed).

The cupholders are now on ETSY. It took just a couple minutes for the first one to sell. My guess is the rest will go soon. Don't forget that as soon as I get back from my 8 day trip to the Sierras I will immediately start making the 2nd batch. I will continue making batches until the orders stop. That may take a couple weeks or a couple years. I have no idea. All I can ask is that you be patient. Anyone who wants one will eventually get one.

I was stalking your Etsy (I'm sick, mentally) and was able to buy a double, woohoo.

That said, I'm selling the prototype I received last week. Its an Oak colored single cupholder. I'll sell it for $35, which is what I bought it for + $5 shipping. You'll need new 3M adhesive as I did stick it on already.

Brad, if you have any guidance about how to remove the installed cupholder without destroying the console, let me know.

Wow. My 6 cupholders are now down to 3. That took less then 5 minutes. I'm not sure if I should be excited or terrified. If the demand is as strong as I think it could be; I am going to be VERY busy for the next few months. To the guys that purchased so quickly, thanks for the support and patience. They will be in the mail tomorrow morning.

WooHoo :bounce::bounce2: was able to get the Oak cup and cell phone model.

Thanks Brad for designing and producing these. Have never been thrilled with other cup holder alternatives but really like this design.

\○/ just got the last double !!! Thanks Brad
