Deliberately keeping my daughter's rig stock. Previous owner, along with other suspension nightmares, has one rear and one front spring on the front axle. Naturally, doesn't sit level. I've replaced the rear springs with new ones, but need a pair of stockers for the front. If anyone near Tx has upgraded, I'd like to buy your stock front springs, provided the truck was sitting level. It's an 85 xcab hilux with straight axle. Thanks!

If my mechanic hasn't tossed them, you are welcome to the ones that were taken off my 1985 4Runner last week. The rear springs had been overloaded often but the 4Runner was completely stock up front with no additional weight. Although not rusty or anything, I have to say that they did look like 22 year old springs when we took them off!

They are in Alabama at zip code 35171 (near I-20). I will be back there on Sunday and can bring the springs down to Gulf Shores (near I-10) if you know anyone traveling from Florida back to Texas.

I got a pair of 80 stock springs I will let go and live in Houston.

Are you sure? IIRC moving the rears to the front pushes the axle forward, if they were mixed the axle would be angled? The spring perch on the diff, passengers side is taller and that spring is flatter, so maybe the springs just mounted on the wrong sides?
