The subject says it all - after SnT, Heidi and I decided we're ready to buy a trailer. You know, to take our glamping to the next level.

Anyone have a spare wheel for later model 80s sitting around, preferably the one with the dark grey between the spokes? All the ads on MUD are for sets of four.

Thanks

None here, but I wanna see pics of the trailer

I'm picking it up tomorrow morning, so I'll post pics then.

Damn Marcus - at least tell us what you got. Too many nice trailers get to you guys at SnT??? :D

Haven't found a way to broach the subject of a trailer with the wife :princess:. She doesn't understand $1 I spend on camping and offroading, much less the $$$ for a trailer and preferrably a Maggiolina RTT. After the finger incident, I'm wary of putting too much on the INTI. You should also see the bruises on my arms from loading and unloading the roof rack. Damn blood thinners.

Brent - PMd you. But here's the details for the other curious folks:

The trailer is a custom build with some neat features- AT Chaser style tub with gas strut lid and a rack on lid, spare tire swingout, dual Optima bluetops with solar trickle charge, Waeco 110 fridge in a metal tongue box, custom water tanks under the tub with skid plates, water pump, new axle with electric brakes , springs/shocks, multi-axis coupler, extendable tongue from about 7' long for highway stability and easy reversing, to about 3' long for tight trails. some other tid bits like led lighting under tub lid, work lights all around, small generator, and camp toilet and the Overland RTT.

There were three prevailing factors to cause Heidi (yes the wife) to suggest we get one. First was this ingenious sink pullout we saw from a NorCal 100 owner's trailer at SnT, second was that damn apple cobbler (I decided I need to eat like that EVERY time I camp - except with ice cream), and third was the article in the winter 08 Overland Journal (which I just received) about water systems with on demand hot water and filtration. The 80 was getting way too overloaded and the trailer will let me take the 80s kitchen setup to the next level.

LOL - SnT is a dangerous place for modaholics!!!! :D:lol::lol::lol:

Can't wait to see it! IIRC the sink was on the Conqueror trailer that also had the wraparound awning we looked at.

Thanks for the heads up - I PMd him.

I have 5 aluminum 16's and 4 steal 16's if your interested email me @ marktalla@cox.net

Sent you an email.

I could use one also if it's a 93/94 and the price is right.

Well, if there are buyers for spares, maybe I'll just buy a set of four and then sell off the extra two.

I'd probably be interested in at least one, just like sdnative - better if it's for a '94 conical lugs.
