I’ve got noco and Hulkman jump packs. They’ve helped a lot of people many a times. I wouldn’t push my Panasonic without it for sure. Small recommendation would be to “size up” whatever you’re trying to jump. Good to have extra jump capacity over what you need.

They’re likely “on sale” now too. Good time to buy if you’re in the market.

I ended up getting the TrueStart from our local dealership. I learned that the 84 month warranty does not cover the factory battery and to see if we qualified for any type of warranty for the factory battery I’d have to hand over my keys…hard pass on that.

$155 out the door. Cleaned up the terminals and back on the road. Driving voltage is reading 14 now vs 13.5 as before. Santa is bringing a NOCO GB50 just in time for our winter road trip.

Thanks for the input.

Factory battery falls under the toyota factory 3/36 warranty.
Anecdote here but the toyota and lexus dealers usually will basically make warranty usage as difficult as possible. As long as one never needs it (most dont), you are solid.

For the future:

Your local memebership store and/or walmart has the best value overall. You sacrifice a a little bit of perceieved quality (in actuality I have not seen the numbers to back up less or more quality) for essentially the same experience at a better price. And who doesnt have a walmart nearby for warranty coverage.

I’ve seen a lot of people recommend the trustart battery from WM on other forums. No first hand experience with it, but it seems like minimal hassle (comparatively) whenever you may or may not need to get a replacement during the coverage period. No pro-rata table needed as it’s a legit replacement period for those batteries. Agreed about some label hesitation, but they’re made by the same manufacturers that make some of the other recommended batteries mentioned previously. It’d take research to confirm who makes them, but clarion, etc are likely.

I recommend any battery thats made by east penn. The walmart serial number must start with EP to confirm.
At their sub $100/1 year warranty, the money one saves, they can warranty their own battery.
