I was doing some PM on my runner yesterday. The exact kind of PM the current issue of 4wdtoyotaowner magazine shows on how to do a cleaning of the TB, intake plenum. After cleaning all the parts and putting everything as it was and even adjusting the new TPS, now it won't crank over. I followed the magazine to the letter and I even triple checked the TPS adjustment and still nothing. I'm puzzled of what it could be? I double checked all vacuum lines per FSM and still nothing....

Have you checked for codes? I'm guessing something like the TPS connector didn't get hooked up tight. Make sure it's snapped on.

False alarm fellas, She's working fine again.

After reading some posts on here about ground wires, checked all mine and found the ground wire right by the intake plenum was not bolted on. That was the culprit...I can't believe something that small can affect the entire car.

8 lashes for me...
