If you scroll down in my post that I linked earlier, cruiseroutfit comments on the piston with the double seal.
There isint much info in that post to help me. Yes, I understand buying a rebuild kit will help, but it’s Saturday and I’m out of options.

I'm sorry to hear about your dilemma. I've owned a 40 since the mid 80's and found slave cylinders go out in the most inopportune times. I've had to learn to drive without a clutch, but i found my NV4500 doesn't like that at all. So, I usually carry a spare in both my 40's.

I don’t blame you for being frustrated.
This is a good example of why I think we should buy our parts from the vendors on ih8mud. I sell Refrigeration/HVAC equipment and parts to the service industry and we see more and more of our industry buying from Amazon. I know this is the world we live in but I know from experience supporting our vendors is the only way they continue to support our hobby.
I know, I know…. Amazon is here to stay and it’s convenient and cheap…….but I believe the last line of Cruisematts post says it best.

The Toyota 4 speed did not mind clutch less shifts don't know yet if the H55F does.

The CRT019’s I stock and sell work perfectly. No idea about Amazon,
That’s interesting that they don’t provide personal tech support though.
Well, I’m thoroughly confused because it’s just weird how what I bought came directly from the manufacturer through their Amazon store. I work in tech and I know how Amazon works. This is not a Chinese rip off or a knock off part.

What’s even more strange is if your (@cruisermatt ) kits come with spring in that center gasket, why the heck does this kit not come with those two parts. Unless your kit looks exactly the same as this one and it works perfectly - then the spring and middle gasket is no longer needed. That’s what I’m trying to figure out. I’ve ordered a second unit to show up today to compare.

When I get home and check out the new MC and Slave for my clutch sounds like I need to take the slave apart to see if it has all the parts. I should be able to feel if the spring was included before taking it apart.
