Need pic or desc of where rear seat release mounts

So...I am reassembling my Piggie and started working on the rear bench. I started installing the rear seat release and can't figure out for the life of me where the release handle mounts. I replaced a good bit of metal in this area and might have removed the factory holes. Does anyone have a pic or a good description?

Which part of the mount? The lever or the thing that is under the seat. If you look to the right on this pic, you'll see the latch under the seat in a little depression, the cable over to the passenger side where the lever mounts, and the lever (barely). Does this help?

I need a pic or desc of whats under your hand. Does it mount on the top section where its flat, on the side where its slated...etc. I could just screw it down but would like it close to original since my rig is still stock.

Still can't see the release that you pull w/ your hand. I think it mounts on the top. I might just screw it in and call it good.

The tie that holds the cable looks exactly like the one that holds the cable on the heater. It's located about 4" to the left & about 1" upwards of the body mount bolt. HTH! ;p

I checked that area and I must have painted over the holes...

I'll take a peek in the morning and see if I can find the right mounting spot. Do the two screws/bolts go into the top flat area or on a side/sloping area?

It is on the top flat part. Unfortunately mine is so rusted that I can't tell if it is held by bolts or if it is welded.

Yup - couldn't find the holes b/c I replaced all the sheet metal in that area. Time for some self tapping screws!

WOW...what seat release?..kept wondering what that empty pan was for.
