Well here we go again. I need some one with identifying some parts number.

#1 should be easy, what is the part number for the rubber clips that hold in the A/C line on the driver side fender?

#2 there is a foam pad is located next to the radiator/battery tray on the passenger side. I'd assume its NLA and ill just remove it when I do my dual battery. But hey ya gotta ask.

@cruiserdan cause he forgot more about land cruisers than Ill ever learn.

Thank guys!

It would help if you told us what vehicle we are working with?

Hah, he wants the part number AND extrasensory perception from you.

I'm understanding better now...why you chose to move on to a different line of work. Hopefully that is going well for you, you deserve it.

It's probably a '96 as alluded to in his forum name/ handle...but who knows?

Edit: guess I’m getting old at 32 and don’t understand internet sarcasm. Now on to the parts.

An FZJ80?

The battery foam pads are still available from Toyota: 74471-60040

The clamp: 88718-32220 Available as well.

Yes It's an FZJ80, thanks for your help!

74471-60040 looks to be a square pad. this one looks like it was thin and long. Did they change the shape?

No. The long and thin foam can be from the AC condenser or from around the radiator (most likely the latter).

Hmm yeah its on the side of the radiator and runs down in between the battery tray as shown in the picture. I guess long and thin wasn't a great description, however its longer than wider and not square lol.

Thanks for the educational post :flipoff2:. Yes I have a 96 FZJ80 I just forgot to add that in. I'm not as much of a newbie as your post suggests. I do hope however your treat other members with a little more respect. It's a great community, no reason for such dickery.

You've got PM. Hopefully it will straighten things out. Cool down my friend, it was all in jest. Maybe it's just a California thing, sheeesh.

JMHO I think you were a bit harsh. You say it was all in Jest then follow it up with Maybe a California Thing ? (This is the Tech section right) Maybe it's that DEEP EAST TEXAS SUN ? Just Sayin ;) Cheers

His PM was an intelligent follow up. I think maybe we are all on edge because of the craziness going on or maybe it’s California lol.

Seriously tho s*** is going bananas here in Northern California. Moving on with part numbers and beer.

No need to worry, we've got it ironed out. Had another 'admonishment' from a forum member recently also from Kali (hence the reference). I think a lot of folks there take things too seriously if not downright out of context..is my point. Feel free to disagree.

Anyone that has been here long enough to know me...would know I don't mince words. IF I had intended to insult or offend anyone, it would be readily apparent. And I don't intend to change my ways to accommodate the overly sensitive or easily offended. Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

Can some one please post a picture of your 96 or 97 battery tray/ radiator area. I'm trying to figure out what the original foam part looked like.

Thank you!

Not sure why you aren’t understanding as I clarified what it was earlier: the foam strip is a part of the radiator. It comes with a new radiator. It seals the radiator to the core support. And interfaces there with the battery tray. It is not a part of the battery tray

Well I want a picture for reference. But in general I have a learning disability due to head trauma as a child, its also why I look like sloth.

So what i'm getting is that the pad only comes with a radiator and I just need to scrap the rest of the foam off when I install my new battery tray and move on.

I put a TYC rad in my 93. All I did for foam was go to a hardware store and picked up 1/4”t x 3/4”w adhesive backed foam and used that everywhere the factory had foam. Cheap and effective plus I got ten times the amount for the same price!
For the bottom of the rad I used a piece of copper pipe foam wrap and bonded it to the lower tank with heavy duty double sided tape.

I'm in the middle of installing my new radiator and I have a dual battery set up with both boxes. There is a foam piece that comes attached to the radiator battery box where it meets the fan shroud. Even on the relatively new 93 box it's more or less gone.

I think the foam in your first picture is actually one of the square foam pieces that is wedged in one of the gaps in the front clip. I'll try to take a picture in the light tomorrow.

Pictures below show the remnants of the foam on the battery box and the foam on the front of the radiator.

You can see in the lower right where two of the foam pieces are. I'm not 100% these are the correct locations but the are both thick rectangles and 2" thick.
The second picture is the other part number from the list above. No idea where it goes. It's from the earlier box on the PS.
