My daughter HAS to have tunes in her 40, and on the last one I had someone had already cut the dash for a modern type head unit. Since hers is so original, I'd like to find a dual shaft that will fit in without modifications and also has an ipod hookup. The doors have already had speakers installed and was hoping to supplement those with some wake board speakers off of the roll bar. If I have to run an amp, than I will. I've found a few decent looking head units but am unsure of the quality and fitment. Has anyone come up with a decent "package" that will put out some music without breaking the bank?
Thanks.

I used a Jensen marine radio with a wired remote control unit. Mounted the head unit in the glove box, and the control unit in the opening where the stock ashtray used to reside. I used a backing plate to sandwich the dash between the control unit and the backing plate, thus no drilling was required on the dash.
