My gas cap door won't release when I pop the lever. The lever does pull the pin back, but it is not popping open. Any help would be appreciated.

Your little spring clip doohickey is missing on the hinge pin.
Your missing a small spring, it's like a folded piece of spring steel
should be present near the hinge point.
While you wait for the new fuel door spring, order from any dealer,
if you need to fill up you reach in the left cargo panel and with your right hand pull on the release cable, then pull the door open with the other hand.

Can someone take a picture of the fuel filler door with the spring attached and post it here. I want to know how it should look to ease installation.
There are some photos of it on page 2258 of the "what did you do with your 80 this weeked" about half way down the page. Hopefully it helps.

You probably put more energy looking for this picture than it would've to take a picture of the spring. Every forum out there have those like yourself that choose the low road at every opportunity. However, in the future if I can be of any assistance, I won't hold this attempt at disparagement against you.
Nah, I don't do it to piss you off, I assume that maybe you don;t know so I want you to search for yourself first, just like I make my kids do, and just like everyone did for me on this forum, when I joined.
