Ground for the battery goes through the on/off switch for the winch and from there to a factory ground on top of the block.Where did you ground your aux battery?

Absolutely. I was trying not to overbuild but the 30mm spacers weren't cutting it. Ill give you a call and set it up. Maybe somebody local has a bushing tool?I love how on HC you were saying "Man, I need a lift" then you had one installed a week later. Love the drive you have!!
Offer still stands on the bushings. Buy the tool and bring your truck over, we can knock that out in a few hours.
We had the same discussion at Relic Run that the springs would be dramatically better than the soft and worn OEM springs.
I'm interested in the light output from the solo LED's. Anything is better than no light on the tailgate but I don't think the solo LED's will be that bright. I picked up a interior cabin light and mounted it beside the handle on the lift gate. I installed a bright warm white LED panel. It provides the perfect amount of light, not too bright and not too dim. I will be building some rock lights for the truck with COB LED's soon.
I have seen them. Depending on how this turns out I was thinking about possibly upgrading to something better.Don't discount a solo LED. Ever see a 5w CREE?
Yeah, I had it. That press tool wore out . I threw it in the trash@Green Hell Mustang had the tool to do the bushings on his truck. If the tool isn't worn out yet maybe you could borrow it from him!
I expect to see you wire up all the constellations in the night's sky next. Here something else Ive been working on. I've been wanting to add much needed light to the rear lift gate. I thought about it for a few months on how to mount them and what light to use. Also I wanted to do something different but also keep it OEM looking.
I had several solo 12v LEDs left over from other projects. A little solder and hot glue...

I forgot to take pictures last night, So I'm curious to see how bright it is.
Yes but there is a massive difference between a 5W high power CREE LED and a traditional 5W LED. I've built two mountain bike LED lights for night riding using CREE 3W LED's, P4 bin for the helmet and Q5 bin for the handlebar, with a fully dimmable Fatman boost converter. The LED's that Austin used appear to be traditional 5W LED's since there are no heatsinks. If they are 5W high power CREE LED's without heatsinks, then I hope he doesn't leave the lights on for too long otherwise the plastic would melt.Don't discount a solo LED. Ever see a 5w CREE?
Looks great @NC LX!Just snapped a few photos. Very happy with the results. Going to consider this a win and move on to other projects.
No lights. Picture of the tailgate.

Congrats buddy! Not many updates since I have a newborn at home. During the downtime I sent my front seat belts off to have the webbing replaced and the retractors tightened. Sent the unused 3rd row belts too so the straps could be moved to the front for a perfect OEM match. Update to come.
