Please let me know if you are able to post pictures when you do your install. I ordered it as well. Thank you so much.
I haven't installed it yet, but there are great instructions on how to do so, with lots of pics. Should be simple enough, just need time to focus on it.
Two days ago I purchased a white 2009 LC. The sales person had a decent amount of knowledge. He tried to unlock the Navigation by hitting Menu --> volume --> touch the top left of the screen then lower left, then top left. It did not work. He swears that this has worked on the same generation navigation system. Anyone here know of such manuever?
BTW, the LC is wonderful. Powerful, capable, comfortable, feels solid, attention to detail and very understated.

Jb knows the pattern exactly , but still it only unlocks it for when the LC is on...once you shut it off, you have to re-enter that crazy code....not worth it!
"Yeah! Those are my pics...you can thank my wonderful gf"
JB are you not permitted to post those pictures in this forum? I bought the kit and the install instructions are black and white with small pictures that are hard to see all stamped with "property of Prestigious Society" on them. Did they give you a free module and tell you that you cannot post the pics?
It would be so much easier to actually be able to see the pictures your girlfriend took instead of trying to rip apart a 60k car to install based on a photocopy.
No cut outs on truck.
How would you "remove the circuit board in side and flush mount the unit"
I can get them to do that. You saying just have the two buttons on there and on one blank? I dont know.
I like better where I have it than where you have it. I couldnt reach it where you have it my hands are too big. To each his own. Thanks for the heads up on the unit.
But I am interested in what you are saying about flush mounting it cause I would like to either do that or have that done.
I wonder if toyota would install them? That way if they mess it up it would be covered.
