Glad to hear you got the transmission fixed.

I only want to deal with just 1 Ebrake not 2 so I will stay with the transfer case mounted brake.

I rarely use it anyway because living in Wyoming with arctic winter conditions you could find yourself walking because it froze.

Yeah it gets cold here in Calgary too. We'll see how it works in the winter...
 
How’s it driving now and is it any quieter???

Hard to say. I haven't gotten it up to 70/80 mph since it's been fixed. Just around 65 or so. It does seem quieter though, maybe because the engine's not working as hard as the tranny runs smooth?
 
Yeah it gets cold here in Calgary too. We'll see how it works in the winter...
I have been to Calgary waiting at the airport to fly home watching the plows trying the clear the tarmac.

I have worked up at Ft Mac, and around Edmonton doing steam turbine outages.

At Ft Mac during the shift turn over we would do a wildlife siting and then look at the temps. I would laugh at the temps because it was not much below freezing. I have seen weeks of -45 in Wyoming.
