Just bought a 97 40th! I overpaid but it was meticulously maintained and in almost new shape.

Have been quite impressed with the Board, its helpfulness and insights...

New to Toyota LC's but have had several Range Rovers, D-90's etc.

Quick question: (and yes I have searched but may be utilizing incorrect boolean terminolgy) I am having the front bumper repainted and have found the code for the Sage color but connot locate the code for the "gray" outer endcaps. Would someone mind pointing me in the right direction. Thanks much!

I know the paint codes should be on the tag on the DS door but I'm not sure if that is just for the primary color or not...Maybe this is where you got the paint code for the Sage so you've already checked...

Nice rig though and welcome :flipoff2:

Welcome :flipoff2:

I like that 40th color a lot - Almost on par with White ;)

The front bumper and its' end caps *should* be the same color...the "trim" gray. If the center section is the same Antique Sage Pearl as the body, then it has been repainted in the past.

The gray of the front/rear bumpers is the same on all '97s, regardless of whether they are Anniversary, Collector's or not.

I know this doesn't give you a code, but thought it worth mentioning. You bought yourself the greatest iteration of the greatest vehicle ever made.:grinpimp:

I think you should change your name to Wulfgar! Thanks very much!

Taking the old bumper in Monday morning. Will post a pic when it's back on the truck...
