Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic. She's about two years old and is now 90 pounds of pound puppy. She's like a Border Collie trapped in a Rottweiler's body.

She looks pretty much like a German Shepherd to me.

Yeah. I don't understand why you said she is like...trapped in a Rottweiler's body.

I employed the use of an analogy to describe her personality and her physique. By saying she is like a Border Collie trapped in a Rottweiler's body, I was pointing out her intelligence and high energy level couple with her size, strength, and overall badassedness.

It's a pretty basic writing technique.

Or you could have said she's like a German Shepherd, in that German Shepherds are highly intelligent, large, strong, badass, and energetic.

However, if you want to continue to use s***ty analogies in the future, go for it.

It's a good enough analogy to anyone who understands German Shepherds, Border Collies, Rottweilers, and high school English.

Saying she's "like" a German Shepherd when she "is" a German Shepherd? Now that's a s***ty analogy.

I really have no idea why you're so hacked over the way I described my dog. Have I offended you at some time without realizing it, or are you just having a bad day?

Exactly, he never gets tired of fetch. See a trend in these pics?

:D

It looks like he's getting better with bigger and bigger sticks. :D

I hate to report this but our puppy passed last night...

He is huntin ducks in heaven...

Oh no. The pup, and not the big guy, right?

Not that it really matters, I guess, but losing the big guy would suck worse, I think.

Either way, sorry. :frown:

parvo?
