Nice post. I am thinking seriously about buying a 71' this week. Did they come with a 4 sp tranny? The one I am looking at has a 3-sp and is supposedly stock. Thanks.

3-spd is stock until at least 74, that's what I've got on mine.

Hey Chief; do you have the drivers windshield wiper transmission/spidle/shaft? along with a wiper arm for a 78 on your parts pig?; $OR page 192 part # 6 wiper arm and no number on on the shaft where the wiper arm is bolted to

Time has been spotty lately. My dad is have a tough time. Things arent looking good.

A very long awaited update.
The pig sat idle for 4 months while I was dealing with my dads sickness and death.
I have since done a full tune up, changed the tie rod ends and rebuilt the front brakes.
We are now able to ride around and enjoy the pig.

I am only turn signals away from a fully operational piggy
