3rd Bucket seats. I had the front bench seat restored way back when but I would much rather go with buckets. I have heard of Volvo seats being pretty nice. Any others that people recommend.
Thanks.

Let me know if you want to part with the bench seat - mine is a little rough!

Great story as well. My Dad told me about the bailing wire as well. Always carried a roll ever since. I have used it a few times to keep some things from falling off the Cruiser.

I live on the Western Slope around Glenwood Springs.

I do have a couple of questions for the pig heads out there: Who makes a 2-3" lift for the 55's? I see that I can go Alcan and they are somewhat local but I had a really bad experience with them a few years back. I would try them again if others have had pretty good luck with them lately.

2nd I really want a bullbar/brushguard for it but can't find one that I like. I like the Aussie style for the 40 series but can't find one for the 55.

Ya, I know.... search function is great but I'm lazy.
Thanks.

1. I dont know personally but I have heard nothing but good things about Alcan springs. Everybody who puts them on their piggie loves 'em.

2. Good question. I think IPOR makes one for the piggie, otherwise you may have to fab your own.

3. The general consincous here is that the Chevy Silverado/Tahoe/new Suburban seats are the way to go. They are uber comfy. Plus they have an integrated 3 point harness in them. So you can ditch the static belts that came stock in the pig.

That's good to know about the seatbelts. I should have done a better search before i drilled holes in my floor for lap belts...

Thanks for the pic. I kind of like it. I'm not too sure about the expanded metal though but gives me something to go on. Thanks.
