Do I get a second shot at that bumper this go round?
Still works man and I'm rebuilding her.
Should I go flareless going forward or should I still put all the flares back on? If I go flareless then I'd just remove the PS and call it a day.
Go flareless with black bed liner..
I think the white ones look good that way.
I'm thinking of removing all the flares and hardware then removing the running boards. Without the flares or running boards it will be impossible to run mudflaps is my understanding. Is this correct?
If so then I will rhino line where the flares were as well as about 6 inches of the bottom of the truck so road grime won't show as bad and chip the paint as bad.
Any thoughts or recommendations? Can I run mud flaps without flares and running boards? What type of liner can I use? Has anyone removed the flares and associated hardware before?
I took mine off. Easy to do. I used body shutz by 3m. I was very happy with it, less so now. The passenger side hasn't held up real well.
I filled the holes with plugs from the hardware sure.

So I won't use Shutz from 3M. What kind or plugs from hardware store? And what would it hurt to leave them open?
There would just be a hole.
They were just little plastic plugs. They came in a pack of like a dozen.
The truck I saw that had the 3m stuff looked great. And he said he had it on for a while with no problems.

You don't have front or rear mud flaps do you?
Spend the bucks and have it line-x'd. Worth it in the long run from everything I've web-wheeled and read.
