$630 for both doors shells, mirror, and flares. Will need to source a front fender next. All will be white so no painting of anything like that.

Bumper

Do I get a second shot at that bumper this go round?

Still works man and I'm rebuilding her.

Should I go flareless going forward or should I still put all the flares back on? If I go flareless then I'd just remove the PS and call it a day.

I also forgot to post an update that I got a rebuilt starter from Southern Armature in Birmingham and resolved the starter issue.

No flares.

Go flareless with black bed liner..
I think the white ones look good that way.

I like that idea. Just bed line where the flares where you think?

I'm thinking of removing all the flares and hardware then removing the running boards. Without the flares or running boards it will be impossible to run mudflaps is my understanding. Is this correct?

If so then I will rhino line where the flares were as well as about 6 inches of the bottom of the truck so road grime won't show as bad and chip the paint as bad.

Any thoughts or recommendations? Can I run mud flaps without flares and running boards? What type of liner can I use? Has anyone removed the flares and associated hardware before?

I took mine off. Easy to do. I used body shutz by 3m. I was very happy with it, less so now. The passenger side hasn't held up real well.

I filled the holes with plugs from the hardware sure.

via mobile app.

So I won't use Shutz from 3M. What kind or plugs from hardware store? And what would it hurt to leave them open?

There would just be a hole.

They were just little plastic plugs. They came in a pack of like a dozen.

The truck I saw that had the 3m stuff looked great. And he said he had it on for a while with no problems.

You don't have front or rear mud flaps do you?

You can look at mine.. I still haven't filled or bed lined.
Got 3 gallons of durabak though.. This enough to coat the entire truck twice

Spend the bucks and have it line-x'd. Worth it in the long run from everything I've web-wheeled and read.

I might just do that. I may take it all off this weekend if I have the time.

All of my parts have arrived now and will be installed either tomorrow or Monday. Has anybody around Birmingham ever changed a front fender or stripped out doors and replaced them? Can anybody help me remove the flares maybe this Sunday or next week? I'd appreciate it.

I'm heading out of town..
Otherwise I would definitely repay the help you gave me.. Maybe if you still need help next week.

Anybody have any experience with a body shop or shade tree mechanic to put on two doors and a fender? In the Birmingham area.
