Funding all the truck repairs (cruiser content) with the sale of my 2005 Miata. Wish me luck. It's posted out on Craiglist and Autotrader. Craiglist has had no calls in the week it's been up, so posted the Autotrader ad this afternoon.

Don't think it's worth posting here on Mud, but if you know anyone interested, send them my way.

It's a 2005 with just under 46,000 miles. Not bad for a SoCal car. :D I'm asking $11,495. Higher mileage '05's at dealers are asking $13,000.

Here's a teaser photo. Gotta love that Zaino Bros. shine.

I always pictured it CALIFORNIA RED!

So obviously you are bringing the CRUZA back to life with this 4 Sale. We need a thread on the game plan for that bad boy.

Good Luck with the sale, great car and low miles.

Game plan for the cruiser is John's magic at SD Trux! Once he's got the engine running 'like the sewing machine it is' (his words) I'll order Shane's leather (if he'll ever return my pm's and/or email I've sent him). Waiting to be sure we can get the cruiser well before dropping the coin on the leather and new DS seat cushion.

Not a great time to sell a convertible (rain and holidays), but given the low miles, I hope it'll sell quickly! Green wasn't my first choice, but it was almost 2 years old when I bought it and it had 8700 miles on it! I couldn't pass it up. It's a green mica (metalic green) finish that just gleems when clean!

Seen this in person and it's CLEAN!!

Fawk. Buyer just emailed. Something about forgeting some medical condition that pushing a clutch will aggravate. Too excited at the prospect of a convertible and he forgot. Right...

Sorry to hear Brent, hopefully you haven't turned too many people away since dealing with this guy for the last few days.

Just one. I've got her phone number and just said I had a sale pending and to give me a call this coming week just in case it fell thru. Will call her tomorrow. Had a good price at $11K sales price too!

Brent,

Did you ever hear back from Shane? I have a coworker that is looking to replace all the leather in his 80 and I wanted to send him Shane's way...assuming he has great customer service. From what I hear, the leather is awesome. i just want to make sure that it is not a pain to get it in your hands.

I've seen the gray leather on another rig at SnT this year. Quality, fit and finish is absolutely top notch. I have not heard back from him tho...

Not going to until the Miata is sold tho and he's aware of that, so could be the reason. Don't know.

I'm not overely concerned. Sometimes good quality is worth the wait and I really liked what I saw at SnT.
