Hello All, just purchased a 78 fj40 Landcruiser, after looking for several years. Yes, it needs some work but everything is original and is in good running condition. I joined this forum after hearing about all the helpful posts and the knowledge shared from others. Thanks for letting me join the forum!
Welcome. I really wish I would have started with something that nice. Enjoy driving it and try to keep it on the road as much as possible. They seem worth the hassle and maintenance when they are drivable. It’s easy to get frustrated when they sit more than they drive.
Welcome. Great looking truck.
Nice unmolested dash, original seats, and the elusive Toyota rubber floor mat.
A good vendor among others to replace your dryer duct intake hose is City Racer on the site.
Looks like a decent 40. 78 is a great year. Front range? The emissions stuff missing might be an issue? Fresh paint kinda scares me, but if it runs, drive the heck out it! So many great places to drive a 40 out there.
