New to the LC scene and so far I am loving every minute of it. You can scope out my FZJ80 below. I also look forward to meeting you guys the first chance I have to go to a meet-n-greet.
Any San Diego cruisers want to go on a run and dont mind a newbie, please let me know. I am so ready and willing to go it hurts!!!!

So my questions are, are their any fabricators on here that want to get paid to build me some sliders and a bumper? I am more than willing to assist to make it happen, and I will furnish all materials that are needed if a list if given.

Next question, anyone know of a fabricator that wants some business? Please let me know so I can get some sliders and a bumper made.

I look forward to meeting you guys/gals, and thanks for checking this post out.

Welcome. What part of San Diego are you in?

From your avatar, I am guessing you're in the Navy? Is that a 53?

Send a PM to 1973Guppie, I think he does fab work.

if you want to wheel, i'm willing to go out for a day run. Not sure what is open in the san gabriels with the fires...

hannaquality has sliders. I believe Ken has a few sets in stock, ready to go.

Welcome, I don't have an 80 (yet) but I sold my FJC and am looking. I watched the one you bought and was wondering if you shipped it or flew and drive and what you thought about the whole experience either way.

Happy new year! :)

Congrats on your 80, looks awesome.

I have no fab skills, but if you ever want to wheel in the LA area, hit me up.

Welcome!!!

It's great to see another SD cruiser on the forum. I don't have any runs planned but will try and get out at least once in Jan. Maybe an overnight in Sheep canyon.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I live in Tierrasanta and yup, I am in the Navy. I work on the SH60B
as an Avaiation Structural Mechanic which includes hydraulics.

I had it shipped as its location in PA was going to run an arm and a leg in airfare. I used Auto Transport Executives and they were pleasant to deal with. They explained the whole auto transport system and even allowed me to do my own research before I committed. To say the least it is amazing what actually happens when trying to get a secure the deal. I have more information about it if you need and can PM you the details. I was also extremely lucky to have a great seller to deal with on the other end.

Just let me know ahead of time! But like I said before, I am a newb at wheeling so take it easy on me!

Again, thanks for the welcome and information. I look forward to meeting you guys and doing business with some!

Right on Darren, another SD 80!
You may see me drive past you on the 15 each morning and evening. I am working off of Claremont Mesa Blvd and the 15 these days. I live in South Park which is only a few minutes from the 32 St. Naval Station so if you ever want to meet up for a beer or an off-road trip let me know.
As for a local Fab guy I had Noah AKA 1973Guppie build me a gas can basket for my rear tire swing that I have gotten sand blasted but haven't yet painted. Not sure if he can do a full bumper or sliders for you but I will let you guys figure it out so check out his thread. https://forum.ih8mud.com/ca-san-diego-cruisers/322948-i-can-work-your-cruiser-carlsbad-ca.html

Awesome! I checked your site with the pictures and videos. Pretty nice! I will gladly hit you sometime to go out, and please dont hesitate to let me know when you are going! As far as beer goes, anytime, anyplace! Thanks for sending me the link, after reading that I went ahead and PM'd him so we will see what happens from there.

Hope to meet up soon!
