Wow! :) I have a bunch of drawings of the same kind of idea, but couldn't figure out how to make it work. This is fantastic, I wish someone made a quick release faucet. The pic of the mock up is worth a thousand words!

Thanks! If you can remove the neck, what are the concerns with the faucet? I guess I'm wondering what would be the need to remove the faucet or why would you want to?
Thanks

Just for the idea of being able to stack and pack everything. Maybe build a lid with sides that just go up around the faucet to protect it.

I had thought to build a slightly raised platform that you stand on during the shower but it could be mounted on top of the box to protect the faucet and keep stuff out of the sink.

Maybe a stupid quesrion--Is there a way to route water through the engine to heat it? Instead.of propane.

I think you'd want to go with a Helton system if that's what you want to do. This is purpose built to use propane.

Geez, wake up in the middle of the night, and I know what that would be used for! LOL! But looking at it gives the idea
of lowering the faucet and removing the neck. I agree, too bad so expensive.

It looks like that faucet is only got a quick disconnect with the neck as well. The taps still are sitting on top. I have drawings at home of my variation, but I'm not home for another month. Badgers box is still the best single source I've seen for camping, very cool.

I have a picture in my mind of that, using like a wood slat surface, for water to fall through, (with 3" sides) to stand on for showering to keep feet mud free, and then being able to set it over the top of the box to protect the faucet and sink.

Not to sound like my Wife, but wouldn't the wood get some bacteria growing on it? I know she wouldn't want it touching her food area. Me, I say that's what stomach acid is for, right.
