Bought my first 65 FJ45 LV and just got the title in the mail today. The truck is at whiteys right now while I get a shipper lined up to get it. I’ve never seen or owned a LV so excited to get it here. Someone painted over the spring green with some roll on or rattle can tan paint. Will hopefully be able to get it back down to the original paint if not I’m fine with the way it looks right now. The trucks interior was removed by the previous owner to clean out all the rat s*** and other garbage. He has every piece for the truck except it didn’t have a light switch or factory hood spear when he got it. Here are some pictures for now

Hey @FJ40 MATT, FJ45 MATT isn’t taken!

Is whiteys @whitey45?

Congrats Matt! I am going to head up to YT’s one day after work and check it out before it ships out. If you don’t mind anyway.
Yea see if you can get the Chevy 350 in it running with Whitey and go do some donuts in the yard with it

Hahahaha yea I don’t think I can do that this far along. Yup it’s at Brian’s

I don’t think I’ve ever seen an LV with a round side vent that’s pretty unusual.
Yea Brian said the same thing to me. I think it’s a 64 that was titled as a 65. I just got the title today and it says 65 on it.

I’m not sure if it was a vent for a aftermarket heater.

I just zoomed in I think someone cut the whole in the cowl and put the vent in

I’m not really sure what would of been attached to the dash to the right of the glove box

Oh, regarding the heater, it was a dealer add on called a fresh air vent option. Pretty darn rare to see, I had a 63 with one. These got many different aftermarket heaters in the early 60’s.

Nice I thought you had said that
