Thanks green, I just joined TLCA and waiting for my account to activate.

Thanks for the checklist Jon I know I would have overlooked something when I start.

So today I changed the plugs, cables, cap, and rotor....thanks for the warning on the #6 plug everyone....that thing sure was a bastard coming out...all I had was 3" and a 10" extension and I needed about a 5-6" lol

I did notice a slight increase in power and my idling seems to have settled a little bit. Tomorrow I am going to use the BB method to bypass the EGR.

I will replace the valve cover gasket soon enough but that looks like it will be a bigger task to just get to it.

Thanks Mot, I am going to be looking into one of those OEM plate relocators from you soon.

welcome aboard, im on my second 92 80 series, the one I have now is white too. I would go against alot of opinions posted about tuning up a 3fe and say go for a small block v8. I did a 350 tbi and it was more work and money than anticipated but i feel it was worth it. If i did it again i might try a 327 tbi or vortec with whatever manual transmission and the trans adapter to the stock transfercase. but thats just me. Anyways welcome aboard!

This morning before work I de-smogged using the BBs in the hoses and I noticed an increase in torque and my idling issue is all over. No CEL yet and unable to estimate mileage yet but I should have a better approximation in about a week or 2.
