Why thank you very much !! But this came out of a HJ60 that is 24volts, and i can tell it is OEM by the connecters, and it is installed in the fender. I am thinking some sort of voltage reducer for the radio maybe ??
ahhh !!! 24v changes everything, you may be right. if you need, I have the schematic from the bj 60 12 volts.

OK, so with the low snow conditions this winter i'm finding time to work on my rig again. First the quarter panel was a bit to bent to make look decent so i decided to take one of a donor i had in stock……

To finish i had to trade a little blue welder for a red !!
 
After a few step forwards and ALOT back, (frickn' bipolar ) Had almost all the bondo finished, 4 weeks of it mind you i took a grinder to it !! Two hrs later…….

I was very miserable when i was mudding everything thinking to myself " wtf r u doing " to much stuff and WORK to boot to play in the trees,then while my Moosehead (miller ) time i came across a paint scheme that fixed a my remaining issues, from bond to paint !!
so all i need is flat panels just to conceal the welds a bit, so now the finish is a lot less filler to move or crack. The paint was going to nice and shinny from the start. NOT anymore…..

Got the doors and fenders left to epoxy, the gonna hit it a few GOOD coats of Polyester primer filler and KaBang paint time !!!!
 
Nice to be back guys, I'm excited too !! Always nice to hear some kind words, my friends think i"m nuts !! Oh well….
If anybody going thru this and knows anything about faux patina painting, Please chime in. All help is great.
 
Sorry cant provide tips, but ive been watching videos all morning lol.
Think I may do this one day.... didn't realize it was a thing. Probably not use as extreme colorsr as in the video below, more like the pic you posted, browns and blacks

Got a bit more done, Both rear door where epoxy' and retouched so rear door and front fenders ready for poly prime.
Got the roof rib foamed in, and getting the floor ready for aux batt box and such….
