i need to drop my FJ60 off there soon for a couple of minor things...just so that I can see this in person. Came out great.

I wouldn't change a thing. Badass!!

Great job mate the only thing I would probably change is the bonnet just doesn't look right

So we needed a new family rig. Of course the FJ200 was a natural fit. I am extremely impressed with the Land Cruisers build quality. Amazing attention to detail.

Ditto. Amazing rig, and a really great thread, but I must have missed the hood deal. Why is it not the same shape as a 'normal' 40 hood? I dont know much about them, but it just looks way off in form and finish.

Thanks or the kind words gents.

re: hood. Yeah, if I were to do it over again I would do a stock hood vs. the aqualu hood. I modified it a little bit to make it look a tad better...but alas it is what it is.

This thread is like porn. :smokin:

can you tell me what front blinkers you are using? I am wanting to dump the huge units that come on the 1976 model.

Call up Fleet Supply, they can help you.

LED Side and Parking Lights:

Turn Signals:
0342421 Rear (these were returned for Aussie LEDs, the JW Speakers were too big)

Your answer is on page 17.

Any updates? How do you like those rear tail lights? Bright? I'm thinking of getting the same ones. Thanks-

700 or so pavement miles to date. Plan is to take it down to Bend, Oregon for the summer and then transition into elk/deer hunting rig in the Fall.

TorFab has been helping me fix the errors from other vendors. The air lockers were leaking into the compressor (Randy's Off Road), the transfer case built by Man-a-Fre had to be totally redone (purchased 7 months before they bankruptcy, go figure), and I am currently spec'ing out a 3.73 ring and pinion (4.11 gears). The cummins diesel 3BT needs the lower revs.

The rear tail lights are great. The reverse lights alone make the cost of the upgrade (if you don't already have zombie lights), super bright.

Looks great! Can't wait to see it run in person someday. Sorry to hear about all the random issues with components. At least Tor's around to assist (he's answered more than my share of dumb questions from me over the years).

PS I think I still owe you one for your old windshield frame so if you make it to one of the meetings and I am in town I'll buy you some beers.
