These pics are so saddening. I feel for everyone who's been affected.

I don't know, between flash or slow flooding, which would be worse...
- Flash flooding you hardly have time to save yourself, much less any posessions so that's pretty scary;
But slow flooding has got to be VERY hard to cope with as you can virtually stand and watch your things get destroyed by the water and are powerless to stop it.

thats amazing!

the max used to be $250k for flood no matter the homes value. I have been out of the housing business for a few years....so he is screwed.

I got .30 on a 1.00 on my homes in NOLA and State Farm said nope to the rest.

Some dip**** advised him that they would not get water. He chose to not do anything while the rest of the people in the club loaded all their s*** and left.

I hope he does not get a red cent for being so stupid.

Those pics were taken 5' under crest. That mantle is in the water right now.

The road to Eagle Lake has flooded about every 4th year since I've been going out there but never to 61. There is a ranch style house about 3 miles from that shot down the road leading to the lake. It never gets flooded. Never...

A friend of mine, who is heir to the throne of Simmons Catfish in Yazoo City, is now Chief of his very own Fort Appache. They have done something simular to the video above with a few additions. He has his employees standing guard 24 hrs on the make shift dam with shotguns ordered to shoot anything that's not a human or catfish. He has another armed employee at every pond with the same orders. A breached dam leaking tainted water or several critters could put them out of business and almost 300 people out of work.

This is less than ideal...
