In my earlier write up, I noted that I had damaged a TRED recovery device. It was brand new, and it split down the side and completely broke a small section right off. I was less than pleased with this.
I seemed to recall them having a lifetime warranty, so went to their website
TRED™ | Total Recovery & Extraction Device for Off Road Vehicles and contacted them. There's a warranty link right on the home page. I received a reply the next day asking for a receipt. So I emailed a scan of the receipt, and the same day I was told that my claim would be forwarded to the main US distributor (TRED's are Australian made). My naturally cynical self doubted that there would be any further action...
Man, I was so wrong!
Five days later, these arrived at my front door!
Brand new, full set of two new TRED's. I don't even have to return the set I already have.
Pretty damn good customer service. I'm impressed.
Now, I'll have to try them out again. Hopefully, the one that split was a fluke.
