I mounted the remote head of my radio to the rear view mirror using a part from a Jeep Cherokee. Moved the HAM from the center console to a newly installed roof console. The GMRS was installed in the previous location that the HAM had vacated.

Updated radio from an FT-2980 to my FT-7900r that I had in the Tacoma. Head unit is mounted off the shifter using a ram ball mount and the body is under the Tuffy console where it had plenty of air flow. Bonus is I dont need the external speaker any more either.

BTech 20 watt in my 200 series. Power comes from a relay box in the engine bay.

I went overhead to cut the glare I had when it was dash mounted. Radio is under the seat. The mic sits in my lap when I'm using it, otherwise it stows under the seat.
GX460 with a Treaty Oak Offroad bracket.
