Mounting jack

maybe because there driving a JEEP, anyone that has any brains can tell that a jeep isn't built on a 1 ton truck frame!

I can just barely squeeze my 48inch hilift into the roller drawer in the rear- it doesn't fit great, but it fits. Keeps it clean and keeps it from bouncing around.
I'm looking at mounting the 5ft bar somewhere else on the rig and still keeping the mechanism in the drawer... but haven't figured out just where to do all of that yet. Those 5ft bars aren't easy to stowe. If I used a roof rack still, I would add it there. Maybe when I finally get my surf rack on there I'll figure something out... hopefully. I'm not as worried about grit and grime on the bar as in the moving parts.

When I see jeepers like that it screams POSER in my head, wonder why?

Oh too bad, my 60 inch jack fits perfect in the back sideways.

I have seen some great roof rack mounts for the highlift as well. But then you look like a Rover Poser. :flipoff2:

I have too much crap in the back to put in in there sideways even with the seat out. Besides I don't want that thing shifting around etc. wheeling. All my @&@&@&@& gets bolted down now too in the cargo area.

If I ever get to a rear bumper I'll be a 60/80 poser:rolleyes:
