ARB's mounts are budget in the context (pretty much all applications) we are discussing here.

"Units are now in stock with additional shipments due mid June. The current awning bracket P/No OS3071 has recently been upgraded from 3mm to 4mm construction however it is considered lighter duty and designated for highway use."

you'll want to bypass ARB AWNING BRACKET UNIVERSAL (OS850) and buy the above from Andy. Pay for quality, get the same. I have no affiliation, just practical use.

Thanks, I checked an order today and it looks like a back order, I'll call and cancel and buy some from andy

Sent you a pm on the brackets Andy.

Soooo, I'd like s pair also. Just can't figure out how to PM Andy

Very cool. I made up some brackets for use with Thule/Yakima cross bars.

Went a couple steps beyond the L bracket design. Machined 6061 Aluminum, textured powder coat, and stainless hardware.

You can use these across OE roof rails. They're just like the RTT rails, but come with the hardware to clamp onto the OE rails. Super easy, and a lot cheaper than some other options. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M0RQM0T

Great thread! Nice to see several options these days.

I've been running a bracket set on each lc with yakima and arb touring from @AimCOtaco . still perfect!

Are those what come stock with the Yakima Slim Shady Awning?

Know the part number(s)?

Yes they are I had to slot the two bolt holes because of my awning but they work perfect and are stout and total cost was under $100 the brackets were hard to find Yakima did not offer them but they did give me the part number I found them on Amazon though.

Bracket 8880736

Clamp 8880737

Thanks for this info! Which awning do you have?

Do you happen to know if the Tepui awning track will fit onto these Yakima brackets?

I'm hoping so, because... I actually have a Slim Shady currently; it is an absolute piece of junk (telescoping legs broke upon 1st deployment). The brackets and round-bar adapters are already attached to my Yakima round bars, so if the brackets fit into the Tepui awning track, it should be an easy swap...

I have a Chinese foxwing we purchased in a group buy with the local club. Almost all awnings are the same you might have to make a slot like I did to make it fit the bolt holes were about 1/2" to low so I just took a Dremel and made the holes into slots and it works great.

ideas?

I'm sold on Yak's: bombdiggity. Know how to mount their access. Fabbed a way to use Quick-Fists on 'em also, for the hi-lift, oars, etc.

Even had a buddy fab me up some sliders for my Yak's, which thread I will update and include linky here.

Apparently the dealio awning ARB AWNING TOURING 2500MM ARB3108US comes sans mounting brackets. but i want to put it on Yakima bars, with 4 to choose from (Spacecase and Conferr rack)

PDQ help? need to put it in use this weekend.
