Motor mounts

Just wanted to report back after driving on these for two weeks: This was a bigger improvement than I expected. Not trying to create more stress for those thinking about parts to change out, but this really did make the drive much smoother. I didn't think I would care about this so much, but the new smoothness is really nice.

As a side bonus it also helped reduce my "clunk" some. I believe my CVs flanges are still the root cause, so still more to do there, but just this change alone got rid of about 20% of the clunk for me.

Was beyond time to replace these...no wonder it was vibrating so much

I used 12361-50121 but 12361-50120 and 12361-50210 are all listed as direct fits for the 100. Did I miss a memo (not sure if there's a difference).

Also used 12371-50081 instead of 12371-50080 (early model part no.)

Did those just tear apart like that during removal? Or did you purposely rip them off to see how much force it would take?

And how is the ride now? I have a set of these in the garage that I need to just do.

I unbolted them from the frame then jacked the engine up and the mounts fell out

I had been riding around with completely torn engine mounts…

I barely recognize my truck now. It’s so smooth that my girlfriend asked me “is the engine on?” when I started it
